"Soft, well-rounded with a refreshing aftertaste."

"Nagaoka No Hoshi" has a soft, well-rounded mouthfeel and a refreshing aftertaste with a moderate dryness while retaining a hint of the rice's flavour. There is just the right amount of bitterness present to offset the rice's subtle aroma and umami.

On the palate, a subtle nutty flavour lingers throughout, leaving an unforgettable impression.

This quaint town of five breweries, where sake, miso, and soy sauce have been produced since the Edo Period, is designated a tangible cultural property since 1992. Traditional tools and fermentation tanks from the Meiji and Taisho periods are used to create sake with a rich, rice flavour sure to elevate any meal and warm your heart.
