About our Sake Club.

What is Sorakami’s Sake Club?

Sorakami's Sake Club is the easiest way to discover and master the world of sake. Every month, our members receive one premium bottle of sake curated by our sake sommelier, a tasting card to demystify your bottle and enjoy it the right way, our monthly "Sake Review" magazine to explore the world of sake and Japan. Finally, each Sake Club member get a member's card to benefit from exclusive member perks.

How do I become a member?

To become a member of our sake club, go to our sake club page (you can find it on the menu at the top) and select your membership type and duration. Follow the checkout the process, enter your home address and voila! You are now a member of of our growing family of sake lovers!

Can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your “monthly” membership at anytime by logging into your Sorakami account here. Select “Subscriptions”, then “manage” and click on “cancel”. That’s it, pretty simple isn’t? If you’d rather have us do it, simply email us here and we’ll take care of it for you!

When does my Membership renew?

Every membership auto renew at the end of its term. Monthly membership renew every month, 6 months memberships every 6 months and 12 months membership every 12 months. If you want to cancel your membership, see the question above to learn how to do so.

It is important to note that gifted membership will not auto renew.

We offer different types of memberships.

Our monthly membership renews every month and offers great flexibility as you can cancel whenever you'd like at anytime.

We also offer prepaid 6 and 12 months memberships at a slightly lower monthly payments. These memberships renew automatically but can also be cancelled at anytime.

About our gifts.

Can I gift sake?

Of course! Sake taste much better when it is shared with loved one. You can gift a Sake Club Membership our any of our bottles or other products by selecting this is a gift option. You can find our gift page here.

Can I gift a Sake Club Membership?

Absolutely, go to the sake club page here and select which membership you'd like to gift by selecting "Gift", instead of "join now".


  About delivery.

When will I receive my first bottle as a new Sake Club Member?

Upon joining our Sake Club, you will receive your first bottle within 5 working days.

When do Sake Club Member receive their monthly bottle?

We ship our monthly bottle to our Sake Club Members every 20th of the month. It might happen that we ship within 2 days of the 20th due to special circumstances.

How quickly do you ship one-off orders and how?

We normally ship our orders within 2 to 3 working days with ParcelForce Tracked Express 48HRS. We pack our bottle in recyclable and highly protective packaging.

I received a broken bottle, what do I do?

We use extremely protective packaging but in the event that you receive a broken bottle, contact us here immediately and we’ll take care of it :)

Do you ship outside the UK?

At the minute, we only ship with the UK. We'll be posting updates about our expansion plans on our social media so stay tuned!

I have moved homes, can I update my address for my monthly bottle?

Yes, you can. Sign up into your Sorakami account here and update your delivery details.

Please note that you must update your information at least 2 weeks before your shipment is planned. If you are unsure about the timing, email us here and we'll sort it for you :)


  About payments.

When are Sake Club Member charged?

  • Monthly Sake Club membership - the first payment is made on the day you join us and every 01st of the month after this throughout your stay with us.

  • 6 or 12 Month long Membership - in this scenario you will be only charged once on the day you’ve joined us and upon the automatic renewal of your membership.

What are the different types of payments?

We accept the following payment methods: Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, MasterCard, Paypal, ShopPay and Visa.

How do I edit my payment details?

Log into your Sorakami account here, and edit your Billing Details.
