"An incredibly light and refreshing sake with a delightful body."

"Science Brothers" is a brand of sake created by the Ariga Sake Brewery located in Fukushima. Kazuhiro and Yujiro Ariga, two brothers, took an intense data-driven and mathematical approach to sake brewing. After five years of analysis and modelling, "Science Brothers" was born. Data never tasted this good!

The sake has an assertive ginjo aroma and is characterised by its lower than usual alcohol content and sweet rice taste. It's a kind of sake that pairs well with a meal due to its delicate flavours.

The Ariga Brewery

Built upon request of one of the Daimyo (vassals of the Shogun), the Ariga brewery was created in 1774 in Kamanoko, a village then in the samurai domain of the Echigo Takada clan. As the brewery went on, it focused on passing down its tradition and local specificities. Ariga is also famous for producing Makgeolli, a milky, off-white, and lightly sparkling rice wine that originates from Korea.
