Miyazaki Honten

Miyazaki Honten is located in the northern part of Mie prefecture, benefiting from the pure underground water beneath the Suzuka Mountain Range. As part of the expansion, they have taken over 30 breweries that once existed in the area, growing them to more than 200,000 square feet in size. Both their sake brand Miyanoyuki and distilled shochu brand Kinmiya are brewed in traditional black-walled buildings that fill their buildings with the sweet aroma of fermentation mash. While they value and protect tradition, they have also taken steps to incorporate necessary initiatives, including sustainable practices and waste water management.
